Fantastic sunset ocean kayak adventure

This is what you missed if you did not join us ocean kayaking last night... Maybe the best paddle all year, or ever! We made it around the reef off Dana Point just as the sun was setting, so we had about 40 min. of paddling by moonlight!!! Yes it was near full moon so we had this fantastic moon dancing off the waves, still very warm. The water inside the harbor was pure glass with all the lights from boats and homes reflecting like your favorite Monet painting... 

This was on top of a perfect south San Clemente hike, up and down the hills off of Christianitos. 90 min. of sweating to ocean views, worth every drop. We had about twenty brave souls join us for this one, many were doing intervals to train for the San Gorgonio hike coming up.
